What to do about being discouraged as a photographer.
Let's face it. Photography is a lot more than clicking a button. I remember when I was first learning how to photograph, my teachers in high school, as well as professors in college, told me all about their experiences when photos they took didn't come out as planned. They told me all about the mathematics inside of the camera, and told me to remember what affects what but not to forget to experiment with the camera, because after all, photography is art.
“Your first 1,000 photographs are your worst.” -Henri Cartier Bresson
We all have been there. Saying the photos came out "perfect," coming to find out they didn't come out exactly how you wanted. But that is okay! Don't get discouraged. Because as we all have heard a million and ten times growing up, practice makes perfect. So just keep photographing and doing what you love!
